About Pete Blakeley

Pete Blakeley was for many years the resident shooting coach at one of
the finest shooting facilities in the world, the magnificent Dallas Gun
Club in Lewisville, Texas, where he coached in excess of 1,000 students
annually. Situated on 650 acres, this year(2003) the club won the
coveted title of the best all round gun club in the US.
Before coming to the US, he was the instructor at Annandale Shooting
Ground, on the Earl of Annandales Estate in South West Scotland. The
Area boasts some of the top sporting estates in Scotland including the
Buccleuch and Westerhall estates and some of the best driven grouse,
driven pheasant and bird hunting in the world. For many years he owned
and operated "Border Tackle & Guns" in Scotland.
With over 40 years experience on bird hunting techniques and 30 years experience
on sporting clays and skeet, over the last 27 years his innovative coaching
methods have taught thousands of shot gunners how to reach new levels and improve
their game. He is considered to be one of the most experienced and highly
qualified shooting instructors in the world today.
He holds schools and seminars at various venues throughout the United States.
